Newport senior captures an individual title.

Newport Knights senior Ashleigh Helms captured first place at the 4A state track meet in the pole vault with a vault of 13 feet on May 24 at Mount Tahoma High School in Tacoma. The 13-foot vault was a personal record for Helms.
