Baseball takes No.3 seed at North Region playoff

Bellevue will play Everett in game one of the North Region playoffs Friday at 3 p.m.

As regular season regional champion, Edmonds (31-10) has an automatic entry into the NWAACC Baseball championship tournament. Bellevue (26-18) will battle Everett and Skagit Valley for the remaining berth.

Softball plays today in NWAACC Championships

The Bellevue College softball team will play No.3 Columbia Basin today at 11:30 a.m. at Delta Park in Portland in the first round of the NWAACC Championship tournament.

The Bulldogs went 13-1 in their final 14 games to finish the regular season before finishing second in the North Region tournament.

“I am very happy with the way the team played down the stretch,” said coach Leah Francis. “It has been a very rewarding year for us and I look forward to taking this team to the playoff tournament.”
