Georgia Naomi Lindblad died peacefully at Montclair Park in Poulsbo on June 26, 2010. She was 98 years old. Georgia was born in Mullenvill, Kansas December 13, 1911. She graduated from Cortez High School, Cortez CO where she played basketball. She attended nursing school and was a registered nurse. Georgia married Howard Lindblad November 24, 1935. They moved to Bellevue WA in 1946, where Georgia was a homemaker. Georgia and Howard taught square dancing for 25 years. She loved music and dancing and played piano and the organ. She also enjoyed cake decorating. She was an avid reader.Georgia and Howard followed their sons, Richard (Linda) and Skip (Barbara) to Poulsbo WA in 1975. Georgia worked for many years at Domsea Fish Processing, Lemolo Greenhouses, and Kiana Lodge. Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lindblad, Sister’s Mary Akin and Josephine Briggs. She is survived by her son’s Richard, Winthrop WA, and Skip, Poulsbo WA, brother’s Baron Brumley and Jerry Brumley, five grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and many nieces and nephews.
