Update: Power restored for most downtown Bellevue customers

Puget Sound Energy is reporting an unknown issue at its substation near downtown Bellevue caused a power outage shortly before 9 a.m. Friday that is still in effect.

Puget Sound Energy is reporting most downtown Bellevue customers have had their power restored after it went out around 9 a.m. Friday due to a “critter” causing damage at its substation.

The outage initially affected 375 customers, including a number of downtown businesses and high-rises, but that number has dropped to 42, according to PSE. Restoration for remaining customers is expected by 10:45 a.m.
