Always wanted to try the ukulele? Dusty Strings is bringing Sunga Rose to Crossroads Bellevue Shopping Center on Saturday, Sept. 22, to teach the “Beginning Ukulele Workshop” from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Community Room. Instruction will include a few simple chords and some basic strums, along with a packet of songs to work on. Two or three chords will enable a person to play a number of songs.

Participants should bring their ukulele tuned G-C-E-A. For those without their own ukulele, a limited number of loaners will be available. People should ahead to reserve one.

Advance registration required by calling Dusty Strings at 206-624-1662. Registration fee is $30. Those not sure if the ukulele is for them can get a free preview when Sunga Rose performs with the Honeyville Rascals on Thursday, Sept. 20 at 6:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Market Stage.
