Symetra employees volunteering at area nonprofits

More than 200 Symetra Financial employees will fan out across the Puget Sound region this week, Aug. 23-27, in support of the community during the second annual Symetra Week of Service. Employee volunteers will paint, clean, landscape and organize on behalf of 11 nonprofit organizations.

More than 200 Symetra Financial employees will fan out across the Puget Sound region this week, Aug. 23-27, in support of the community during the second annual Symetra Week of Service. Employee volunteers will paint, clean, landscape and organize on behalf of 11 nonprofit organizations.

In Bellevue, nonprofit partners include:

–American Cancer Society Discovery Shop in the Overlake area along with Hopelink Food Bank and the Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society

“While we’re engaged in supporting nonprofits year ‘round, the Symetra Week of Service spotlights our employees’ involvement and commitment to the Puget Sound region,” said Tom Marra president and CEO of Symetra Financial, who will be among the 200 employee volunteers. “There is a genuine spirit of community service at Symetra, and it will be on full display this week.”
