Stolen Bellevue vehicle involved in drive-by shooting

Des Moines police is asking the public to help locate the suspected vehicle.

A Des Moines drive-by shooter has been observed in the South King County area and police are asking locals to assist in locating the suspected vehicle.

The suspected vehicle is a blue 1999 Honda Civic with Washington License AKU8731 and was involved with a drive-by shooting on Nov. 26 that left a 13-year-old boy with non-life-threatening injuries. The vehicle was reported as stolen to the Bellevue police department on Nov. 7 and has scratches on the driver’s side front quarter panel.

Des Moines police added that the occupants are considered armed and dangerous so anybody who spots the vehicle should call 911 immediately. They also ask anybody with a tip or more information to contact the Des Moines Police Department at 206-878-3301 and reference case number 18-3025.
