Practice SAT test to benefit facial surgeries

The Tutoring Club of Bellevue at Sammamish High School will proctor a practice SAT Reasoning Test from 12:30-5 p.m. on both Oct. 28 and Nov. 18th at the school.

Tests will cost $20 and all proceeds will benefit Club Operation Smile. Scores will be available immediately after the test. Students will also be offered tips on how to improve their score after taking the test.

Sammamish High School’s Club Operation Smile was formed to raise money for surgeries to correct cleft lips and palates in Third-World children who might otherwise be unable to afford it. Affiliated with the international organization Operation Smile, the club’s previous activities have included a coin scavenger hunt to collect donations in local neighborhoods as well as the creation of hundreds of cards to send to recovering Operation Smile patients.
