Terry Pottmeyer, COO at Friends of Youth, has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer of the organization, replacing retiring CEO Joan Campbell. The move will be effective August 1.

Pottmeyer joined Friends of Youth in 2010. She has held a number of high profile roles at Friends of Youth, including Chief Program Officer and Chief Operating Officer.

Campbell is retiring from the position of CEO, which she has held since 2009. Campbell has worked at Friends of Youth for more than 22 years, starting as director of community services and then rising to the positions of COO in 2002 and CEO in 2009.

Pottmeyer earned a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington Foster School of Business.
