Police seeking shoplifting, stabbing suspect

Bellevue Police are seeking the public's help in identifying a suspect in the Oct. 4 robbery and stabbing at the Bellevue Square Macy's.

Bellevue Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in the Oct. 4 shoplifting and stabbing at the Bellevue Square Macy’s.

A man in his early 40s is suspected of shoplifting clothing from Macy’s around 10:30 p.m., then stabbing a store loss prevention officer in the abdomen when confronted about the theft, police report.

The suspect was last witnessed fleeing toward the Bellevue Transit Center.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect is asked to contact Crimestoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477). If a person provides information that results in an arrest, they may receive a $1,000 cash reward.
