Police: Missing Bellevue man, 68, now safe

Bellevue Police are trying to locate Ngo Van Vu, age 68, who has been missing since yesterday morning. Vu is on daily medications and needs his next dose, police said. He lives in the Crossroads area of Bellevue. The owner of an adult home contacted Bellevue police at 7:50 p.m. last night and began searching for Vu in places that he likes to frequent. Friends say Vu usually goes for a morning walk at 9:00 a.m. and then comes back for lunch, but he did not return yesterday. Vu is not known to leave for days at a time. He does not use transit or taxis, and does not carry a cell phone. Vu is described as an Asian male, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing around 140 lbs. He has short black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black wind breaker jacket, blue jeans or green khakis, and brown shoes. Anyone who spots Vu is asked to call the Bellevue Police Department via 911 to report his whereabouts.
