A rental car, apparently lost in the area, was traveling northbound in the 3600 block of Evergreen Point Road when it veered off the roadway and struck a large rock, Medina police report. The accident occurred at about 2:20 a.m. on Thursday, June 19.

Although the diagnosis has altered his life, it has not slowed him down. An avid walker, he has participated in previous cancer walks and now plans to walk side by side with family and friends in this year’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure.
