Mathew Ruddell, son of William Ruddell and Rosalind Renshaw of Bellevue, received a $2,000 President’s Scholarship for the 2008-2009 and 2009-2010 academic years at Western Washington University.

Ruddell, an incoming freshman, earned a 4.0 GPA at Sammamish High School, and is interested in becoming a Biology major. He volunteers for the city of Bellevue and was a winner at the Puget Sound Regional Art Show.
