Dec. 9

Burglary: At 4:50 a.m. in the 2200 block of 148th Avenue Northeast, police responded to a commercial alarm. The officers found the front door pried open and the back office area burglarized. Police conducted a K-9 search but could not find the suspect.

Dec. 11

Mailbox theft: At 9:13 a.m. in the 17100 block of Southeast 58th Street, someone broke into three mailbox banks. Police identified the damage, but several victims and loss totals are still outstanding.

Sandwich bolt: At 7:54 p.m. in the 300 block of 110th Avenue Northeast, someone ordered a sandwich. They grabbed it and the tip jar and ran out of the store without paying. The suspect was later arrested after police gathered surveillance footage.

Dec. 12

Construction site break-in: At 7 a.m. in the 1200 block of 124th Avenue Northeast, suspected entered a construction site. First they cut the wire fence, then they used a drill to enter locked doors. After gaining entry, they stole spools of copper wire and tools.

Overdose: At 2 p.m. in the 16600 block of Northup Way, a man overdosed in his car. His family found him. An officer arrived and determined the man was in cardiac arrest. The officer administered one dose of NARCAN. The male regained consciousness and was taken to the hospital.

Failed robbery attempt: At 4 p.m. in the 15000 block of Main Street, a man entered the bank and sat at a desk. He wrote on a piece of paper that he wanted $16,000 and passed it to the teller. The teller realized the man was attempting to rob the bank. She told him to wait, that she would return with the money. The suspect sat there waiting. The teller pushed the holdup alarm and told her manager. The police arrived and took the man into custody.

Dec. 13

Warrant: At 10:03 p.m. in the 11200 block of Main Street, officers contacted a subject in a suspicious car. He had an outstanding felony warrant. The subject attempted to pull away from the officers’ grasp and was taken to the ground where he was arrested.

Dec. 14

Stranger on the porch: At 2:35 a.m. in the 10 block of Diamond S Ranch, there was an unknown male subject on the back porch. He tried the patio door handle. Police found the subject in the backyard and detained him for further investigation.
