Parents, community members, and education advocates will join together today to kick off the Bellevue Chapter of Stand for Children and discuss what people can do this campaign season to make change for children.

Parents, community members, and education advocates will join together today to kick off the Bellevue Chapter of Stand for Children and discuss what people can do this campaign season to make change for children.

State Rep. Ross Hunter will speak about the opportunities people have this year to make systemic changes to Washington’s public education system.

The event will be from 7-8:30 p.m. at Lake Sammamish Foursquare Church, 14434 N.E. Eighth St., Bellevue.

Stand for Children is a citizen voice for children to teach everyday people how to join together in an effective grassroots voice in order to win concrete, long-lasting improvements for children, at both state and local levels.
