Families without a place to stay will have an easier way to connect to housing resources at the Together Center in Redmond – and later in Bellevue. Family Housing Connection will provide a single access point for families seeking housing and shelter resources in King County.
Starting April 23, the organization will begin scheduling housing assessments with families who are not currently in shelters or on waiting lists. Families can connect by calling 2-1-1 on or after that day.
When fully launched, there will a host site in Bellevue and seven additional offices scattered throughout King County to reduce transportation issues.
Family Housing Connection staff is completing housing assessments with families in emergency shelters. In the next two weeks, housing assessments will begin with families who are on program waiting lists.
The Together Center is located at 16225 NE 87 St., Suite A-5, Redmond, 425-869-6699, www.togethercenter.org.
