A former staff writer for the Bellevue Reporter was honored last weekend in the annual statewide contest by the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association.

A former staff writer for the Bellevue Reporter was honored last weekend in the annual statewide contest by the Washington Newspaper Publishers Association.

Josh Suman received a second place award for the story, “Longtime BCS teacher, coach stepping down.” The sports story dealt with Bellevue Christian School coach Mike Strong, who retired last year after 40 years of coaching and teaching.
