Bellevue developer, Seattle mayor to debate transit proposal

Bellevue developer Kemper Freeman and Seattle Mayor Greg Nickels will debate Proposition 1, the mass transit proposal, at the University of Washington on Wednesday, Oct. 22.

Hosted by the Evans School of Public Affairs, the event will showcase the choices voters face as they decide Proposition 1, the ballot measure to add more Express buses, expand commuter rail and build 36 miles of light rail.

The 4:30 p.m. event will be in Room 309 of Parrington Hall on the University of Washington campus.
