Drivers and bicyclists face detours in downtown Bellevue starting Saturday as crews begin work to build a new a turn lane on 112th Avenue NE.

Crews will close 112th Avenue NE at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, between NE Eighth and NE 10th streets. The road will reopen by 6 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 17.

Crews may also close the following lanes and ramps in the Bellevue area from Monday Aug. 3 to Friday, Aug. 7 for construction work.

· Two lanes on northbound I-405 from I-90 to SE Eighth Street.

· Three lanes on southbound I-405 from SE Eighth Street to I-90.

· The ramps at the downtown Bellevue and I-90 interchanges.
