Let’s Eat! Visit these Issaquah restaurants to put a spring in your step

Contests, giveaways and cooking lessons bring foodie fun to Grand Ridge Plaza

The days are getting longer, the rain is drying up, and for restaurant owners at Grand Ridge Plaza everything is starting to look a little brighter.

“It has been an incredibly challenging year for restaurants, with capacity restricted and wild fluctuations in demand. I know the staff at many of GRP’s favorite restaurants have been working tirelessly, often with just a skeleton crew, to keep the doors open,” says Jimmy Ochiltree, Property Manager at Grand Ridge Plaza. “I think everyone’s starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel, and looking forward to a busy summer!”

To celebrate, Grand Ridge Plaza is bringing back GRP EATS for another summer of contests, giveaways and virtual events featuring five local partners: Agave Cocina and Tequila Bar, The Ram Restaurant & Brewery, Bai Tong Thai Restaurant, Chinoise Sushi Bar & Asian Grill, SIP wine bar & restaurant.

“It was fantastic how each of these restaurants stepped up for us in 2020, and we’re glad to have them back for another year of Grand Ridge Plaza EATS,” Ochiltree says.

  • We’re here with you Wednesday: To give back to first responders and boost business for local restaurants Grand Ridge Plaza is once again funding We’re here with you Wednesday this May. “Last year’s event was so well-received. It was a wonderful way to thank our first responders for their heroic work during the pandemic, and a great way to help local restaurants during a difficult time,” Ochiltree says.
