Master Chorus Eastside is holding auditions for openings in its tenor and bass sections for the remainder of its season, which includes an exploration of music’s possibilities, Sound Imaginarium, in March; a Simply Gershwin concert in May, and an All-American Independence Celebration in June.

All will take place in Issaquah’s historic Pickering Barn.

Now in its 22nd season, the chorus presents a four-concert season each year. It performs mainly on the Eastside, but has appeared in Benaroya Hall, throughout western Washington and in numerous performances on the Argosy Christmas ship.

The chorus also participated in the Jamestown anniversary celebrations in 2007, appeared at the Third and Fourth Choral Festivals in Leavenworth, and in performances on the Columbia River as part of the Lewis and Clark 200th-anniversary celebrations.

All concerts feature commentary and historical information presented by Artistic Director & Conductor, Dr. Linda Gingrich, a long-time Issaquah resident and founder and conductor of Master Chorus Eastside.

All interested singers must have choral experience and basic music reading skills. For an audition appointment call the Master Chorus Eastside office at 425-392-8446. For more information on the chorus, go to www.masterchoruseastside.org.
