Everyone at the Seattle Symphony will be watching the Grammy Awards on Feb. 8. Gerard Schwarz and Seattle Symphony were nominated for The Shoe Bird, in the category of Best Musical Album for Children. This is Seattle Symphony’s 12th Grammy nomination.
Released in September 2008, The Shoe Bird has been awarded an AudioFile Earphones Award by AudioFile magazine, and was also named on that publication’s list of “Best Audiobooks of 2008” in the Children & Family Listening category.
