I find it hard to understand how an obviously intelligent person, since she voted for the Obama/Biden team, can take issue with the cruelty, as she calls it, by the press towards Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

I can hardly believe she did not hear Palin’s untrue, mean spirited and immature dialogue trying to attack a man’s character in the worst way. So how could she expect anything better than she dished out, trying to destroy a man’s flawless reputation.

It obviously did not work, therefore the letter writer and her children should be happy to realize that for the majority of Americans this type of smear tactic is unacceptable. When it really counts, kindness, respect and consideration are still alive and well in America.
