Woman of year nominations sought

The Bellevue Business and Professional Women’s Organization (BPW) is seeking nominations from the community for Bellevue’s 2009 Woman of the Year.

Each year, BPW recognizes one professional woman living or working in Bellevue who has made significant contributions in the past year toward improving opportunities for women in

the workplace, strengthening the business community, and enriching the greater community. The Bellevue Woman of the Year for 2009 will be honored at a luncheon on October 21, 2009.

Nominations will be accepted until September 15. Information about how to nominate someone for 2009 Woman of the Year is available on the Bellevue BPW web site, www.bpwbellevue.org.

Business and Professional Women is the oldest and largest women’s business association with a 90-year history of building powerful women personally, politically, and professionally through education, advocacy, and business relationships. Bellevue BPW hosts business networking and educational events including happy hours on the first Wednesdays and luncheons on the third Wednesdays of each month.
