Wine commission honors Bellevue restaurants

The Washington State Wine Commission has awarded 2010 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards to a number of Bellevue establishments.

The Washington State Wine Commission has awarded 2010 Washington Wine Restaurant Awards to a number of Bellevue establishments.

The awards recognize restaurants that exhibit strong support of Washington State wines and high professional standards in wine service.

The Washington Restaurant Association award, recognizing an outstanding member of the association, was presented to Bellevue’s Pearl Bar & Dining.

Other distinguished awards included:

The Washington Wine Grand Award, for restaurants considered industry leaders in support of the Washington State wine industry, awarded to Daniel’s Broiler Prime Steaks and Chops, El Gaucho Bellevue, John Howie Steak, Seastar Restaurant & Raw Bar – Bellevue and Wild Ginger Bellevue.

Washington Wine Award of Distinction, awarded to restaurants that have shown dedication and commitment to the Washington wine industry, went to Artisanal Brasserie and Wine Bar, Pearl Bar & Dining, Purple Cafe and Wine Bar and Twisted Cork.

Washington Wine Certificate of Recognition, awarded to restaurants that are building support of the Washington wine industry, went to Monsoon East.
