SecureWorld conference in Bellevue to discuss cybersecurity

The latest mega breach—this time from credit reporting monolith Equifax—is one of the largest in U.S. history, and the details and ramifications are only just coming to light.

SecureWorld, a nationally-recognized cybersecurity conference, is coming to Bellevue, to address breaches such as this. With crowd of about 350, attendees can expect more interaction and engagement with hundreds of presenters and their peers.

This is the sixteenth year of SecureWorld Seattle. The two-day conference is where top minds in the local cybersecurity community will gather to address pressing topics like this one. SecureWorld invites the community to join the conference for access to these practitioners and thought leaders who can help audiences better understand the issues that threaten their security, privacy, and finances.

More than 25 solution vendors will conduct product demonstrations in the Exhibitor Hall, and representatives will be on hand from local chapters of InfoSec associations, including InfraGard, (ISC)2, ISSA, Cloud Security Alliance (CSA), Electronic Crimes Task Force (ECTF), and Association of Continuity Professionals (ACP).

SecureWorld has emerged as one of North America’s most vital cybersecurity conferences, providing globally-relevant education, training, and networking for professionals on a regional level. Professional Continuing Education sessions are offered at conferences in 16 cities throughout the United States, as well as through a series of web conferences.

The conference will be held from 7:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Nov. 8-9 at Meydenbauer Center, 11100 NE 6th St, Bellevue.
