Group Health to open new Bellevue Center

Patients are the inspiration behind the design of the Group Health Bellevue Medical Center, which will open July 1. The four-story, 190,000 square-foot medical center will be home to the largest multi-specialty practice in East King County with 125 physicians representing more than 25 medical specialties.

Outlook good for Bellevue economy

Strong development activity and moderate job growth will fuel Bellevue’s economy over the next several years. That was the prediction delivered to the City Council Monday by City Budget Manager Jonathan Swift, who said Bellevue’s economic outlook is generally positive, but increased inflation and a slowing of the housing market could dampen growth.

State hits PSE with $1.25 million fine

State regulators have fined Puget Sound Energy (PSE) $1.25 million for fraudulent natural gas pipeline inspection records spanning a four-year period. The fine is the largest penalty ever imposed by the state on a natural-gas distribution company.
