Thank you, Puget Sound Energy | Letter

When opinions are voiced about companies in the letters to the editor pages of any newspaper, it is frequently to complain about corporate behavior.

Thus it has been with regard to Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and the proposed Eastside Energy Project. So it is only fair, that when a company does something right, they should be publicly praised. I would like to do that today.

I have lived in north Bellevue for almost 48 years and over that time have experienced many storms and attendant power outages, some for days in duration. A few years ago, PSE undertook a major upgrade of their equipment in the north Bellevue area and in so doing, significantly reduced the occurrences and severity of outages.

All outages since their work was completed have been few and far between and of short duration. I am grateful. Thank you, PSE.
