520 work moving along ahead of schedule

The work to replace the concrete bridge approach slabs at Northeast 130th Street on SR 520 is, for the most part, complete, the state Department of Transportation says.

Crews are preparing to remove the concrete barrier and the barrels. The WSDOT says it is possible the road work will wrap up a good 12 hours early – by 5 p.m. tonight.
