Work to close SR 520 off-ramp to 84th Ave. NE

Construction crews will close the eastbound SR 520 off-ramp to 84th Avenue Northeast beginning at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 to secure a concrete barrier along the exit ramp.

Some of the work is expected to be louder than the typical noise of the freeway, but must happen at night to minimize daytime traffic impacts.

The closure will be until be until 5 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 21.

During the closure, crews will use chisels to drill holes into the concrete barrier in order to insert rods that will secure the barriers together.
