Bellevue PD catches Chipotle armed robbery suspect

Bellevue detectives have arrested a suspect who they believe robbed a Bellevue Chipotle restaurant in October.

At about 8 a.m. on Oct. 27, someone entered the Chipotle inside the Crossroads Mall and pointed a gun at an employee. They demanded money.

Detectives say the suspect, DeShaun Nabors, 25, was identified by business management as someone who used to work at the eatery that serves Mexican-inspired food.

Video surveillance was used to put Nabors and his girlfriend’s vehicle in the area at the time the crime occurred.

After a search warrant was obtained, police searched Nabors’ home and found a gun, coin wrappers and a blue glove — similar to the one used to rob the Chipotle.

Nabors is also suspected of at least two other robberies in the area. In one of these, he allegedly stole rolls of coins.

He has been charged with first-degree robbery.
