Bellevue’s Aoife Madden a seni-finalist in Letters About Literature competition

Aoife Madden, 13, a seventh-grader at Eastside Catholic School, is a semi-finalist in the 2010-11 Washington state Letters About Literature competition.

Madden, of Bellevue, is one of 173 semi-finalists out of 3,376 students who submitted an entry.

Letters About Literature is a reading and writing competition which challenges students to write to an author and describe how his or her book affected them.
