The Bellevue Youth Basketball Association (BYBA) fourth grade team captured first place in the fourth annual state tournament on March 19 in Spokane. Bellevue, which compiled a record of 5-0 at the tournament, defeated Anacortes 36-30 in the championship game. Players on the Bellevue roster consist of Tayne Oh, Brock Huber, Will Surbeck, Brandy Tonkin, Alex Elstrom, Alec Peyton, Bryce Smith, Soren Traina, Brandon Douvia and Bryce Kageyama (not pictured). The team was coached by Reggie Clinton.
