A citizen’s quick thinking stopped a runaway car in its tracks before any additional damage could be done on Monday in Bellevue.

A woman involved in a fender bender forgot to set the parking brake on her sedan, which began to roll backwards into oncoming traffic. But a fast-acting bystander was able to reach into the vehicle and set the brake before any additional damage could be done.
