Seeing the Downtown Park absolutely packed at the 20th annual Symetra Bellevue Family 4th made it clear that our city has the perfect recipe for civic celebration:

-Start with a spectacular venue – aren’t you proud our community came together 25 years ago to build the Downtown Park?

-Blend with perfect weather.

-Now mix in committed corporate underwriters such as Symetra Financial (back for the seventh year), the Bellevue Club (the new Main Stage sponsor), and many others.

-Add the management of Bellevue Square, who graciously host a safe launching pad for the fireworks and free parking.

-Then mix in a superb partner, the Bellevue Parks and Community Services Department – which provided bouncy games for kids, tasty event food, and park grounds in pitch perfect condition.

-Season to taste with Bellevue Police and Fire to keep everyone safe – and ease traffic.

-Toss in a flawless flyover by an Air Force C-17 Globemaster III cargo plane.

-Top with the Bellevue Philharmonic Orchestra synchronizing to the fireworks one last time, in a fitting sendoff after 43 years of beautiful music.
