There is a vacancy on the Bellevue Planning Commission and people interested in serving on the City Council-appointed board have until 4 p.m. Aug. 18 to apply.

The commission reviews and proposes amendments to the comprehensive plan, and makes recommendations to the council, using public input, on amendments to the comprehensive plan and Land Use (Zoning) Code. I

In addition, there are openings on the Bellevue Library Board and Environmental Services Commission, and the deadline for applications for those seats has been extended to 4 p.m., Aug. 25.
