Master Gardeners at the Bellevue Urban Demonstration Garden have dedicated a new meditation court to the memory of seven Master Gardeners who have died.

The idea for the medication court was developed after long term Master Gardener and rose expert Don Morrow passed away. The gardeners wanted to do something in his memory. After discussing the project, they decided it should be dedicated to all the Master Gardeners who contributed their knowledge and time to that garden and who have passed away.

Under the leadership of Kathy Ewert, the project took root. With contributions made by Master Gardeners and their families and several local businesses and muscle provided by Master Gardeners the area was developed over the last year.

People can visit the garden at 15500 SE 16th St. Bellevue. For information on the Master Gardener program visit www.king.wsu.edu/gardening.
