Seven Bellevue schools honored

Seven Bellevue schools have been honored with state awards based on their overall test scores, improvement in test scores, and the scores of students from low-income families.
The awards, presented by the state Board of Education and the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, went to Newport High, Bellevue High, Tillicum Middle School, Tyee Middle School, Sherwood Forest Elementary, Enatai Elementary and Clyde Hill Elementary.
