National expert on attention deficit disorder will discuss ‘College Students and ADHD’ at free lecture Dec. 2

“College Students and ADHD” will be the topic as Bellevue College (BC) and the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) host nationally recognized ADHD authority Dr. Harlan Gephart in a free, public lecture Wednesday, Dec. 2.

The event begins at 7 p.m. in room 201 of the college’s N Building, at the south of end of BC’s main campus.

Gephart served as Medical Director of the Center for Attentional Deficit Disorders in Redmond from 1990 to 2002, and currently serves as Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Washington.

Over the course of his career he has assessed and managed several thousand children and adolescents with ADHD and has published numerous articles on the disorder.

Bellevue College’s main campus is located at 3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., Bellevue, at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.
