McBride to hold campaign kickoff event

Former Kirkland Mayor Joan McBride will hold a campaign kickoff event for state Senate at 6 p.m. May 8. McBride is challenging incumbent Sen. Rodney Tom.

The event will be held at the North Bellevue Community Center, 4063 148th Ave. N.E.
