Newport alum earns postgraduate scholarship from SPU | Community sports news

Seattle Pacific University senior and runner Natty Plunkett has been awarded an NCAA postgraduate scholarship for her work in the classroom.

The Bellevue native and Newport High grad is a star distance runner for the cross country and track teams and became the 31st SPU athletes since 1981 to earn the postgrad scholarship, currently are valued at $7,500.

Plunkett carries a 3.97 GPA in psychology and has begun graduate work.
