Boys basketball

Sammamish 71 Juanita 59

Jacob West scored a game-high 18 points as the Totems ran away from Juanita with a 23-16 third quarter.

Ryan Reid led the way for the Rebels with 17.

Mount Si 49 Bellevue 52 (OT)

Cole Walton paced the Wolverines with a game-high 19 points and Bellevue overcame an early deficit to escape with an overtime win.

Ryan Atkinson finished with 18 for the Wildcats in the loss.

Interlake 45 Mercer Island 74

The Islanders took a 17 point lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back in a 29 point win.

Brian Miller was the high scorer with 12 points for Mercer Island.

Girls basketball

Mercer Island 61 Interlake 39

Cate Mueller scored a game-high 18 points, but it wasn’t nearly enough a the Islanders rolled 61-39.

Renae Tessem was the only M-I player in double figures with 12.

Juanita 66 Sammamish 27

Kate Cryderman led the way for the Rebels with 17 as first-place Juanita made quick work of the Totems, who were led by the 10 points of Natsumi Naito.

Bellevue 57 Mount Si 39

Victoria Anderson was the high scorer for the Wolverines with 11 as Bellevue built a eight point lead at the half.

Katy Lindor and Shelby Peerboom finished with eight each for Mount Si.
