Chipped glass at dental clinic | Car accidentally accelerates into building

A 65-year-old Bellevue woman accidentally accelerated from a handicap parking space into the Peak Dental clinic in Factoria on Tuesday.

“I guess their foot got caught under the accelerator,” said Bellevue Police Officer Seth Tyler. “It just hit the glass (front) enough to break the glass. It didn’t go into the building.”

Neither the driver nor occupants inside the dental clinic were harmed during the accident, which occurred around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday. No citations were issued.

Peak Dental is located at 3626 Factoria Boulevard Southeast.
