Humane Society to hold spay, neuter day set for cats

The Bellevue-based Seattle Humane Society will hold a low-fee spay and neuter day for cats Nov. 2.
Male cats will be neutered for $10 and females spayed for $15 (additional charges may apply for complicated surgeries). Feline microchipping and vaccinations will also be available for $5 each.
Spaying/neutering keeps cats from producing unwanted litters and improves a pet’s health. The simple surgery reduces reproductive cancers in females and prostate cancer in males. Other benefits include making them less likely to roam and become injured, and less likely to spray or mark.
Call 425-649-7560 or e-mail VetS@seattlehumane.org to schedule an appointment. The surgeries will be done at the Seattle Humane Society, 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue. Cats must be at least 4 months old.
