Newport girls hoops hosting cancer awareness night

Newport High School’s girls basketball team will host its fourth annual Cancer Awareness Night on Friday, Jan. 25 when the team faces Roosevelt at home in boys and girls basketball.

The girls team will wear special pink uniforms and the gym will be decorated in the same color.

Donations collected will go to Children’s Hospital Clinical Cancer Services.
