KeyBank will open a branch in Newcastle on July 26. It will be located 6917 Coal Creek Parkway S.E. in Coal Creek Village, south of Bellevue.
It will Key’s first branch in Newcastle.
The public is invited to a ceremonial ribbon-cutting to open the branch at noon, Monday, July 26. Newcastle Mayor John Dulcich will participate. In honor of the opening, Key will donate $1,000 to Washington TEAM-WORKS for its educational work with Native American youth. TEAM-WORKS Academy was founded in 2002 by former Seahawks star fullback Mack Strong and his wife, Zoe Higheagle-Strong, a Nez Perce tribal member. The couple lives in Newcastle.
Grand opening festivities will take place at the branch on Saturday, August 21. Customers and visitors are invited to enjoy lunch and fun family activities. Retired Seahawks fullback Strong will sign autographs from noon to 1 p.m.
Visitors are invited to register to win a $500 Key Possibilities gift card from July 26 through August 21.
The branch will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays; and 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Saturdays.
