Monkey is a gentle love bug – a wee 5-year-old Chihuahua mix sporting the tan and black coat of a German Shepherd on his back. Monkey is affectionate and loves to snuggle. He enjoys long walks (although he might prefer to hitch a ride inside your rain jacket if the puddles get too deep) and he is tolerant and eager-to-please. Monkey already knows “Sit” and “Down” (although he usually has to circle a few times before the “Down” can be achieved).

Niko is a 3-year old buff and white tabby that knows how to turn on the charm. He enjoys and expects attention and knows that all he needs to do is look you in the eye to get his way. Niko is a smart boy that will make a great companion. Both are at the Seattle Humane Society in Bellevue, located at the intersection of I-405 and I-90. It is open seven days a week from noon to 6 p.m. For directions call 425-641-0080.
