Cooking demo, book signing coming to Sur La Table

To celebrate the new book by Cindy Mushet and Sur La Table titled Baking Kids Love, Cindy and her 11-year-old daughter, Bella, will participate in a cooking class and book-signing event at Sur La Table’s new store at The Shops at The Bravern.

The Bellevue event will be from noon to 1:30 p.m. October 24.

Mushet has been a professional pastry chef and baking teacher for over 20 years. Sur La Table and Cindy Mushet wrote The Art and Soul of Baking (2008), which received the 2009 IACP Cookbook Award for Baking, was a Gourmet magazine Cookbook Club selection, and was nominated for a 2009 James Beard Foundation Award.
