Town halls to talk about Legislature

Legislators in the 41 and 48 districts, both of which serve Bellevue, have set town hall meetings for residents to discuss the current legislative session.

The 41st District delegation will hold a meeting from 1:30-3 p.m. Saturday, March 14 at Enatai Elementary School.

Sen. Fred Jarrett and Reps. Judy Clibborn and Marcie Maxwell will discuss the issues facing. The event is free and open to the general public.

Enatai is located at 10615 S.E. 23rd St., in Bellevue.

48th District legislators will meet the same day at Chinook Middle School.

Sen. Rodney Tom and Reps. Ross Hunter and Deb Eddy will hold their event at 10 a.m. The trio has invited local leaders to discuss the state’s current efforts around funding for basic education.
