Steve Lingenbrink, a member of the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club (BBRC), has been selected to serve as the district governor for Rotary District 5030. He will be one of 531 district governors worldwide who represents a combined membership of 1.3 million.
Rotary’s District 5030 represents 55 clubs with a membership of over 2500 Rotarians.
“I’m excited about the opportunity to serve Rotary as the District Governor in 2012-2013 for our district,” Lingenbrink said. “We, District 5030, have accomplished so much over the years and I hope to add to that rich history. I’m fortunate that there are so many great resources inside and outside of our district.”
Margie Burnett, President of the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club, praised Lingenbrink’s work in the community.
“Steve has been an outstanding member of BBRC in many of the areas of the club’s work, whether this is through his work with Computers in Antigua, or helping to establish new Rotary clubs within the district. We are excited about his selection for District 5030, where we feel his enthusiasm and passion for Rotary will be felt by more than just our club.”
The Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club has 120 members and meets Fridays at 7 a.m. at Glendale Golf and Country Club. More information is available at www.BBRC.net.
